At Westhampton United Methodist Church in Richmond, Virginia, we are committed to putting our faith into action, transforming young learners into confident Christians and enriching the lives of those we encounter.

Worship

Worship for all ages is offered every Sunday at 11am in our Sanctuary and via Zoom.

Worship is now also being livestreamed on YouTube!

If you prefer to join via Zoom, just contact us and the connection information will be provided.

Sermon Series

During this season, we make time to prepare to receive God's gift of Christ at Christmas. This series highlights the reality that while we rejoice with anticipation of the birth of Christ, we do so in the midst of a weary world.

This November, WDS and WUMC are partnering to host our first-ever Salvation Army Angel Tree!

Angel Trees have angel ornaments representing children and families in our community who will benefit from our assistance during the holiday season. You can select an angel from the tree to provide gifts for your angel this Christmas. Or partner with a class, a colleague, another family or friend when you adopt!

We are thrilled that 50 angels have been adopted!

Desired items and sizes are on each angel ornament. All of our ornaments are for elementary aged children and younger. You do not need to wrap the gifts.

Please bring all gifts to WUMC by December 3.

2024 Ministry Funding Season

WUMC is proud to be a Bridge Church

We commit to remaining a part of the United Methodist Church and to offering support to those left behind by disaffiliation.

Our "warm Westhampton welcome" gives us a long history of providing a welcoming place to belong with caring relationships, listening hearts, and unconditional love.

You are invited to connect with us during your time of transition.
