How Does a Weary World Rejoice?

During this season, we make time to prepare to receive God's gift of Christ at Christmas. This series highlights the reality that while we rejoice with anticipation of the birth of Christ, we do so in the midst of a weary world. While there is certainly joyful hustle and bustle in this busy season, there is also fear, trepidation, and grief that must not be overlooked.

In this Advent season, we will embrace both weariness and joy through worship. So come and bring your weariness and your joy! Come exactly as you are. As always, all are welcome here.

In these times of social distancing, WUMC's Worship Design Team thought it might be a fun idea to have a visible way to express a "Warm Westhampton Welcome" to one another.

Simply make a "W" with your hands. Just put your thumbs together and extend your pointer finger and Voila, you can extend a Warm Westhampton Welcome to anyone!

We hope you'll join us in sharing this sign of warmth with one another!
