Worship Services

A family-friendly, traditional, blended, service.

SUNDAY, JULY 3, 2022

We will not be worshiping in person in the sanctuary this Sunday due to a lack of power at the church. Instead, we will worship together on Zoom at 10:00am.

The WUMC Zoom link is available in the weekly email or contact Pastor Christy.

Eight Blessings

This Summer, we’ll be taking an in depth look at Chapter 5 in this Gospel of Matthew. Here, we’ll join Jesus early on in his ministry. His teachings were drawing crowds of people who were longing for direction and something meaningful in life.

Jesus recognized their needs and spoke to their hearts, offering Eight Blessings, known as Beatitudes. Each blessing is a proverb-like lesson which draws our attention to personal adjustments we might make to find purpose and joy on our life’s journey.

Through this series we’ll be reminded that it’s what’s inside our hearts that matters most to God.

In these times of social distancing, WUMC's Worship Design Team thought it might be a fun idea to have a visible way to express a "Warm Westhampton Welcome" to one another.

Simply make a "W" with your hands. Just put your thumbs together and extend your pointer finger and Voila, you can extend a Warm Westhampton Welcome to anyone!

We hope you'll join us in sharing this sign of warmth with one another!
